Luego de que el equipo de guionista confirmará a través de su cuenta de Twitter, que la serie de Disney, Girl Meets World, no tendría cuarta temporada, algunos miembros del reparto se despidieron a través de las redes sociales, después de filmar el final de la tercera entrega que servirá con final de la serie.


En los tweets del grupo de guionistas se lee: “es con un orgullo increíble en nuestro trabajo y una tristeza total que tenemos que decir que esto se acaba, que informamos a esta maravillosa audiencia de que nuestro show ha terminado”.


“Acabamos de recibir oficialmente la llamada, y quisiera agradecer a los espectadores por su increíble amor y lealtad”, dice otro de los tweets.

Rowan Blanchard, quien interpreta a Riley expresó su decepción por la decisión de Disney Channel y agradeció a sus seguidores por su apoyo. En su cuenta de Twitter publicó un emotivo comunicado donde destaca que estar en la serie fue “lo más importante” de su vida, que ha sido “un honor”, al final del mensaje se lee: “amo a Riley, el mundo que hemos creado y que ahora es su mundo”.


Girl Meets World, que fue cancelada después de tres temporadas y 69 episodios, contó la historia de Riley Matthews (Rowan Blanchard) tal como la comedia original de los años 90, Boy Meets World, siguió a su padre, Cory Matthews, a sus amigos y familiares. En la comedia, Ben Savage repitió su rol de Cory y Danielle Fishel, de Topanga Matthews.

MJ without you I wouldn't know most of what I do. I also probably would have never had 2 paint fights in my lifetime. We live in an intricate world. We can be adversaries whilst being allies. To everyone that watched our show and felt something, thank you. To everyone that grew up watching Boy Meets World and decided to give our story for a new generation a chance, thank you.
