Los American Music Awards ya tienen a sus nominados, siendo Iggy Azalea la artista con el mayor número de nominaciones: seis.
Los otros grandes candidatos de estos galardones, cuyos ganadores son elegidos a través de los votos de los fans, son John Legend, Katy Perry y Pharrell Williams con cinco nominaciones cada uno. Lorde tiene cuatro, mientras que Beyoncé, Eminem, Imagine Dragons, One Republic y One Direction tiene tres cada uno. Otros artitas con múltiples nominaciones son Bastille, Drake, Luke Bryan y Sam Smith.
En cuanto al máximo galardón, el del artista del año, son 10 candidatos, pero el 13 de noviembre serán reducidos a cinco en base a los votos. Los que compiten en esta categoría son Iggy Azalea, Beyoncé, Bryan, Eminem, Imagine Dragons, Legend, Lorde, One Direction, Katty Perry y Pharrell Williams.

Los American Music Awards serán entregados el próximo 23 de noviembre en el Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE.
La votación comienza este lunes en todas las categorías, salvo en la categoría del artista nuevo del año, en AMAvote.com y a través de Twitter escribiendo el nombre del candidato, la categoría y el hashtag #AMAs. La competencia del artista nuevo arrancará el 1 de noviembre y todas se cerrarán el 23 de noviembre.
